Exhaust fumes from the vehicles and increasing pollution in the cities causes our skin to get exposed to various harmful chemicals emitted from the vehicle.
4. Infection or the Poor Hygiene
Majority of skin infections are caused due to poor hygiene practice. Not cleaning the body parts thoroughly or getting in continuous contact with contaminated animals gives rise to skin infections. Light brown or red circular itchy patches on the skin is known as ringworms. It could affect the adults and infants equally. Majority of the time, it targets the neck, head, and legs. Since ringworm is not a serious disease in order to prevent it, we should always maintain good hygiene habits. Never leave any body part wet or moist. Keep in mind that the body is always dry all the time. Use medicated or antifungal soaps. Wash your hair with shampoo at least twice a week. Always wear light coloured cotton clothes in summers. Avoid wearing tight clothes in summers. Do not use others’ brush, comb or towel.
