8 March every year is observed as International Women’s Day (IWD). It is a global day celebrating economic, cultural and women’s social and political achievements, Women’s Day truly marks the necessity for accelerating gender equality. The theme present for IWD 2021 is ‘Choose to Challenge,’ which is further promoted with the hashtag #ChooseToChallenge. Green, White and Purple are the colors of International Women’s Day, where purple signifies dignity and justice, green denotes hope, and white symbolizes purity, which is indeed a controversial topic.

List of Foods which women should eat, whatever which you consume can be a tool which will determine your health. Certainly healthy foods are good for women’s health, helping in managing diseases like breast cancer, diabetes and heart disease. These can further enhance the immune system, strengthen the bones, and protect the skin.

1. Tomato

Tomatoes are the healthiest food for women’s health. Tomatoes contain antioxidants called lycopene, which protects the DNA from the damage which can lead to endometrial, breast, lung, prostate and stomach cancers.

Studies have also confirmed that risk of stroke in women increases gradually after menopause due to lower levels of oestrogen. Bananas are rich in potassium and very low in sodium. It can protect the stroke and heart attack and it lowers the blood pressure as well.
