It is said that perfect shaped eyebrows define one’s face and personality. Everyone is aware that bold eyebrows have nowadays become a trend, and not long back, pencil-thin eyebrows were a trend in the style industry.
Eyebrows are the most noticeable parts of the face, the thicker these are, the more highlighted are the eyes. Thick eyebrows go with any kind of make-up. All of us may want to have thick eyebrows. Some of us have sparse eyebrows, and we are always looking for remedies to make it thicker. For the same reason, you can depend on the salon or try a few effective home remedies.
1. Castor oil
This is an old and most effective remedy for getting thick eyebrows. As it is enriched with fatty acids, proteins, vitamins, and antioxidants, it helps in nourishing the hair follicles. Make sure you use castor oil every day on the eyebrow roots, it promotes the hair growth and ensures each hair strand is very thick and strong.
Massage some castor oil on your eyebrows with the fingertips. Keep it on for about 30 minutes, wipe with makeup remover, and wash the face with slightly warm water.
2. Coconut oil
Coconut oil is as a conditioner and moisturizer and is excellent for improving blood circulation. Fatty acids in coconut oil work with natural proteins found in the hair to prevent it from breaking. Various proteins and nutrients like iron and vitamin E in coconut oil provide healthy and thick eyebrows.
Dip a small cotton swab in the oil and apply it on the eyebrows. Leave it on overnight. Then rinse with face wash early in the morning.
3. Olive oil
Olive oil has vitamin E and A, which help in the growth of the hair. Vitamin E nourishes the hair while vitamin A stimulates the excretion of sebum, our body’s source of natural oil, which helps with hair growth.
Apply a drop of olive oil on the fingertip and massage on the eyebrows. Then keep it for a couple of hours and then wash it with water and face wash.

4. Onion juice
Onion juice has selenium, sulfur, minerals, C vitamins and B vitamins which are good for hair growth. It aids denser and faster growth of eyebrow hair. Also, sulfur improves the release of collagen tissue required for eyebrow growth.
Chop an onion, put the small pieces in a blender and then make a paste. Strain this to take the juice. Use a Q-tip, and then apply the juice on the eyebrows. Now, keep it on for one hour. Wipe it off with a small cotton ball soaked in lemon juice.
5. Egg yolk
The hair of eyebrows is made up of the keratin protein, and egg is the best source of protein. Keratin is the main ingredient in the hair growth supplements. The egg yolks are a rich source of biotin that helps in the growth of eyebrows.
Separate egg yolk from white. Mix the yolk till the smooth consistency is achieved. Apply to the eyebrows using a brush. Then keep it on for about 20 minutes and rinse with fresh warm water.
6. Fenugreek seeds
Fenugreek makes hair healthy and shiny. These seeds help in making hair follicles which causes fresh hair growth; they also contain nicotinic acid and proteins which stimulate the hair growth. Lecithin found in it imparts shine to the hair and allows your hair to retain the natural color.
Put the fenugreek seeds in freshwater overnight. Grind it into a fine paste and then apply it to the eyebrows. Now, keep it on for about 30-45 minutes and rinse with fresh warm water.

7. Petroleum jelly
Petroleum jelly retains moisture in the brows. The petrolatum prevents the moisture from evaporating, and so keeps the skin moisturized. It helps your brows grow long and fuller.
Apply the petroleum jelly on your eyebrows and leave it overnight. Do not apply much as it might stain your pillowcase. Then rinse with fresh water in the morning.
8. Aloe vera
As aloe vera contains the compound aloenin, it promotes the hair growth. It has chemical makeup similar to keratin, so it rejuvenates the hair with its nutrients, making it more elastic and preventing breakage.
Aloe Vera is good for people having excess sebum. This will get rid of excess oil and also open up follicular pores, so encouraging eyebrow hair growth. It promotes the growth of voluminous or thick brows permanently.
Peel off the outer leaf of aloe and scoop the gel. Massage it into your eyebrows till it is absorbed. Then store the rest in the refrigerator.
As lemon is rich in vitamin C, B, folic acid and other essential nutrients, it makes the eyebrow hair grow faster than other ingredient. It is normal for the skin to burn when applying lemon, however, if the irritation remains, skip the process and use other remedy.
Rub a small piece of lemon on your eyebrows. Let it to be there for about 20 minutes and wash off with slight warm water. You can put the lemon peels into a cup of pure coconut oil. Keep the mixture for at least 15 days. Once it is ready, you can apply it onto the brows using small cotton every night.
Milk has a lot of goodness that is why this used in different skincare products. It has two important proteins called whey and casein. These two activate the growth of healthy hair.
Soak the cotton ball in fresh milk. Then massage the eyebrows with cotton. Keep it on for about 15 minutes and then wash with water.
