Apple cider vinegar is strong vinegar made from fermented apples. Many are aware of various health benefits of apple cider vinegar like digestive remedy, weight loss management, and fighting inflammation etc. Apart from this, it has various side-effects and taking too much of it can affect person’s health adversely.

It is prepared by crushing apples, followed by squeezing out its juice. Year and bacteria are then added to liquid to initiate the alcoholic fermentation process, which converts sugar to alcohol. In a next fermentation step, alcohol is converted into vinegar by acetic acid-forming bacteria. Malic acid and Acetic acid combines to give sour taste to vinegar. Apple cider vinegar has no nutritional or medicinal value. There is no clinical evidence that regular consumption of apple cider vinegar helps in maintaining or losing body weight or is effective to manage lipid and blood glucose levels.
