Why horse gram is good for weight loss?
1. High in protein
Horse gram beans are rich in protein. The amino acids globulin and albumin have about 75-79% of the total horse gram content. Also, methionine and tryptophan are in limited quantities in the legume.
The amino acid in protein-rich foods enhances the metabolic rate and helps regulate appetite level, and increases the energy expenditure. Increased satiety reduces energy intake, which is vital for weight loss.

Around 100 g of horse gram has 8 g of fiber. Dietary fiber elevates satiety and lowers the absorption of fat molecules.
A study on people who consume beans showed lower body weight and better nutrient intake.
A study conducted on 20 people showed that a high-fiber diet boosts fiber intake by 75 percent, which also increases satiety and also decreases hunger to help in weight loss.
